Hi, I’m Vicki Kaplan- Dayenu’s director of organizing. The Chutzpah 2020 campaign mobilized more than 1,000 volunteers to reach out to more than 800,000 voters in six key states who care about climate change to vote in the 2020 general election. We helped 21,515 climate voters make or confirm their plan to vote. Forty-three Jewish organizations participated in the Chutzpah 2020 campaign. And an election-night poll of Jewish voters revealed that climate change was the second most important issue for Jewish voters in 2020. The 2020 election is over, but our work isn’t. We’re calling on leaders to put people back to work building a 100% clean energy economy, creating millions of high-wage jobs, prioritizing environmental justice, and holding polluters accountable.
