By choosing the Winpower 100 option I’ve made sure that enough new renewable energy gets added to the regional grid to completely balance the electricity I use at home. And since Winchester’s electricity aggregation contract (Winpower) has a flat rate locked in for 3 years, the rate I am paying on my monthly electric bill at present (May 2022) is actually lower than if I had gone with the dirty electricity offered as a default by Eversource!
